Flavonol glycosides from Epimedium sagittatum(Horny Goat Weed)
Two new flavonol glycosides were isolated from Horny Goat Weed besides the known flavonol glycosides, icariin and icarisid I. On the basis of spectral analyses, the structures of the compounds were determined to be anhydroicaritin-3-O--rhamnoside and icaritin-3-O--rhamnoside.
Author Keywords: Horny Goat Weed; Berberidaceae; anhydroicaritin-3-O--rhamnoside; icaritin-3-O--rhamnoside; icariin; icarisid I.
Flavonol glycosides in the roots of Horny Goat Weed
Author Keywords: Horny Goat Weed; Berberidaceae; noranhydroicaritin glycoside; 8-γ,γ-dimethylallyl-kaempferol 3-O-β- -glucopyranosyl (1→2)-- -rhamnopyranoside-7-O-β- - glucopyranoside; 8-γ,γ-dimethyl-allylkaempferol 3-O-- -rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)-- -rhamnopyranoside-7-O-β- -glucopyranoside; diphylloside A; diphylloside B. ab]Two new 8-γ,γ-dimethylallylkaempferol glycosides, diphyllosides A and B, were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Horny Goat Weed in addition to four known flavonol glycosides. Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods. The difference in chemical constituents between aerial and underground parts of the plant is also described.
Flavonol glycosides from Horny Goat Weed
Three new flavonol glycosides, designated sagittatosides A, B and C, were isolated from the aerial parts of Horny Goat Weed in addition to epimedins A, B and C. Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
Author Keywords: Horny Goat Weed; Berberidaceae; anhydroicaritin 3-O-β- -glucosyl-(1→2)-- -rhamnoside; anhydroicaritin 3-O-β- -xylosyl-(1→2)-- -rhamnoside; anhydroicaritin 3-O-β-glucosyl-(1→2)-- -3-acetylrhamnoside; sagittatoside A; sagittatoside B; sagittatoside C.
Three flavonol glycosides from Horny Goat Weed
Three new flavonol glycosides: 4′-methoxy-5-hydroxy-8-3,3-dimethylallylflavone 3-glycosyl(1→2)rhamnoside-7-glucoside, 3-xylosyl(1→2)rhamnoside-7-glucoside and 3-rhamnosyl(1→2)rhamnoside-7-glucoside and icariin were characterized from the aerial parts of Horny Goat Weed.
Author Keywords: Horny Goat Weed; Berberidaceae; flavonol glycosides; icariin; 2D NMR.
